I can remember Mr Fix-It quite well and I though the series was crazy but funny. I am sure they did only do one series, so the show couldn't have been very successful.

I have recently bought How We Used To Live 1936-53 and 1954-70 on video and I really enjoyed watching both series, haing never seen them in full. I have heard about teacher's notes that accompanies the series - I am particularly interested in seeing the 1936-53 teacher's notes - but they are so hard to find.

There was also a CD-ROM which is now out of print and very rare. I would like to see the teacher's notes as they have background information on all the characters.

I had a small toy dog with a felt umbrella which turned pink when it rained. I think it was blue the rest of the time. Did anyone have one of these or something similar. I thought it was great. I suppose all really needed to do was look outside to see the weather.
