I had a date with a pretty ballerina
Her hair so brilliant that it hurt my eyes
I asked her for this dance
And then she obliged me
Was I surprised, yeah?
Was I surprised,

At this rate, Kate Garraway may actually win!

Does seem possible doesn't it.  Maybe she's not getting the sympathy vote maybe people are keeping her in cos she's so funny to watch?!  Grin
I think it would be kinder to lose her sooner rather than later cos she's getting slated something terrible, it must be so embarassing and hurtful.

I like Craig aswell Widow and i like Arlene i think cos they both tell the truth, whereas Len and sometimes Bruno just say something nice to stay popular with the audience.

My favourite dance this week was Alesha's.  I'm a bigger fan of the latin dances rather than the ballroom although i do like a good Tango!

I was shocked to hear Letitia is nearly 40! Shocked  I think it's the hair that makes her seem so much younger.

You're right Carebear.  Whatever the reason people are voting for Kate, people who take the show seriously hate the fact that she is being kept in and good dancers are being lost.  Surely it can't do her confidence any good to have the papers having reports saying she should have been out weeks ago.  And the Strictly Come Dancing message boards are full of topics about the situation turning the show into a farce.

Yes! But i'm not saying that in a horrible way, as i said previously it'd be kinder for her that she goes asap.

I'm not as sympathetic towards Kenny though! Mr CB on the other hand is glad he's still in (something to do with him partnering Ola!) i really don't enjoy his dancing so would prefer him to go next.

I'm sorry to complain again but judge Len is beginning to annoy me.  If somebody doesn't agree with him then he always tells them to shut up or tells the celebrity to ignore them, i know he's the head judge but they're all entitled to their own opinions  Angry

Yes.  She was being hounded by the press, slated by the judges and kept injuring herself - it was time to put her out of her misery!  She wasn't really fit to dance on Saturday night and was risking doing herself further harm by carrying on.

Kenny annoys me too - I get the feeling he now thinks he's actually quite good.  Kate was well aware of her limitations.  Ola has always annoyed me - oh put some clothes on for God's sake, we've seen it all before - and Lilia is much more attractive.

Len is annoying me by being ridiculously over generous.  Is his eyesight starting to go?  I don't mind him telling the celebrity to ignore the other judges, as he generally does that when the others have been vile and he is trying to be encouraging so they don't cry.  And sometimes Bruno does need to be told to shut up - he does go on!!

Still loving Alesha and Matt!

Oh me too Widow! and i thought Matt and Flavia were fabulous tonight aswell.

Kelly is a good dancer and i agree with the judges about Brendan and his routines but i can't help smiling when they get slated by them  Smiley

Did anyone else notice that Ola's top seemed to be see through? It's all Mr CB went on about  Smiley

Weren't they just?  Actually I have to confess I enjoyed their routine more than Alesha & Matthew's - had I voted, I would have voted for Matt & Flavia last night.

At least Kelly was honest about her routine - did you hear her say "No Brendan, that WAS shocking!"?  She had been saying all week she was worried about it and they hadn't spent enough time on it.

Try and get hold of a copy of yesterday's Sun, Tocks - it had "Ola - Striply Come Dancing!" written across the top.....

So Kenny has gone at last!  I know he was improving, but I think it was time because he just really wasn't up to the standard of the other dancers.

I have to say I thought his rumba wasn't so bad, but I suppose unlike Craig & Arlene I don't know what it's supposed to be like!  I thought it would be so cringey I'd have to watch it from behind a cushion, but it was actually OK.

I'm really sorry Kelly has dropped out.   It's sad for her and her family but also it means there will only be two couples in the final instead of three, as happened last year - and one couple who deserve that final place but won't get it.  I wish they'd just bring the final forward a week so we would get 3 couples and 3 show dances, but I know they won't!

Matthew and Alesha I would have given a 10 just for using "Jealousy" for their tango.  Have to admit, I was out Saturday so I'd recorded Strictly - I had to watch their dance a second time because I'd been so busy singing along (loudly) that I hadn't actually watched it first time around... Embarrassed

Now all I have is MEM-oreeeeee to cherish so TEN-derleeeeeeee.....

Widow, Alesha's Tango last week was great wasn't it but it was the music that did it.  I actually really enjoyed Matt's Tango aswell but not many others did  Grin

This week i really don't know who will go out, when it started i said Letitia if she's in the bottom 2 cos i didn't think the judges would pick her over the other 3 but after Matt's poor performances (judges words, i thought it was ok) i'm not so sure now.

I think the judges are gonna come to blows before the last show with the amount of arguing they've been doing  Grin

Funny isn't it.  When Matt finished his second dance a good percentage of the audience rose to their feet as they though it was that good, yet it seemed he fluffed it!!

Goes to show that the actual viewing public do not really know what they are actually looking for in the dance and as long as they don't fall flat on their @rse in the middle of the dance floor we all think they've done really well.  Grin

I reckon Matt will go out tonight.  It will be him and Letitia in the dance-off.  And as it was actually done last night, he would still be nervous and frustrated at himself for amking mistakes in his dances.  so i think he will probably make more mistakes and the judges will vote him off.  Although I could be proved wrong.

Isn't Letitia doing well.

Well, quite!  S*d voting for the best dance on the night, I'm now voting for Alesha at least once a day!  If the rest of the public don't play by the rules then I won't either  Angry She deserves to win - she's the best dancer.  Gethin should be the other contestant in the final unless he does something terrible next week or Matt produces a miracle!

The fact that you can vote during the week means that a good proportion of votes would already have been cast before Matt's terrible performance on Saturday.  Plus I reckon Matt's fan base is going to be younger girls who will vote repeatedly because they fancy him - and of course he will have picked up the pity vote on Saturday night.

It looks horribly like Alesha was correct in predicting an all boy final and that she really is this year's Zoe Ball - losing out as the audience don't like someone they think finds it easy.  Much as happened to Emma Bunton last year, although I think she and Mark Ramprakash were as good as each other so she wasn't quite so robbed!

Anyhow, I'm cross! Angry  Angry
